Making my own bread has been a passion for years now. I started doing that when I moved to Germany and then I continued in the USA. I really enjoy having the usual French breakfast with tartines (slice of bread spread with butter and jam) and for that I need good bread. I usually bake at least one loaf per week, and eat it for the rest of the week. As an alternative, in Lafayette,IN there is a good bakery: Smittybread, but it’s far away and rather expensive.
